LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST | CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE PRACTITIONER

  • My path to Traditional Chinese Medicine began as a patient. After experiencing firsthand the transformative effects of acupuncture and herbal medicine, I developed a deep respect for their ability to support healing in practical, lasting ways. Combined with my long-standing interest in human health and biology, this experience led me to pursue formal training in acupuncture and herbal medicine.

I earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine certification from Bastyr University in Seattle, where my education included extensive clinical rotations treating a wide range of conditions. My clinical experience includes specialty training in integrative cancer care settings, along with focused work in pain management, digestive health, mental and emotional health, and reproductive, menstrual, and pregnancy-related care.

My background also includes advanced study in biomedical sciences and formal training in Western botanical medicine, which complements my work with Chinese herbal medicine and supports a broader, integrative approach when appropriate.

With deep respect for this medicine, I consider myself a lifelong student, continually learning, refining my skills, and growing as a practitioner in service to my patients.

After many years in the Pacific Northwest, I returned to Kansas to be closer to family and reconnect with my roots. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and mini poodle, walking the Sand Creek Trails, savoring Midwest sunsets, or enjoying a slow, relaxing day in.

  • To me, quality care means meeting you where you are and offering the depth of Chinese medicine to help you meet life’s demands with greater ease.

My clinic is a safe, inclusive space where all are welcome. Care is collaborative and centered on your needs—I listen closely, welcome feedback, and adjust treatment based on your comfort level. My style is gentle, both in palpation and needling, and it’s important that you leave feeling restored, calm, and grounded.

You deserve to feel valued, supported, and understood. This work is about helping you feel more like your authentic self—whatever that means for you.

True healing comes from addressing underlying imbalances and getting to the root of your health concerns, rather than simply masking symptoms. Together, we identify and correct the deeper patterns contributing to your symptoms while restoring and strengthening the foundations of your health to support lasting change.

Treatments support both emotional and physical well-being within a warm, home-like environment designed to be a peaceful place to heal.

  • I work with people across many stages of life and commonly work with:

    • Chronic pain (physical and emotional) or illness

    • Gynecological & reproductive health, including pregnancy, fertility, and menstrual complaints

    • Anxiety, stress, burnout, and nervous system regulation

    • Digestive complaints, including IBS, reflux, bloating, and more

    • Side effects from cancer treatments, such as nausea, fatigue, and neuropathy

    • Pre- and post-surgery support

If you don’t see your condition listed here, please feel free to reach out. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine support a wide range of concerns, and I’m happy to talk with you about whether this approach may be a good fit for your needs.
